Items for Disposal:
Acceptable items for disposal include:
- Non-hazardous household waste (e.g., cardboard, food remains, etc.)
- Bags of grass and leaves (you may have two bags placed by the curb per week)
- Branches (they must be less than 4 feet long and in bundles that are less than 1 foot in diameter)
Non-acceptable items for disposal include:
- Tires
- Paints
- Furniture
- Pesticides
- Appliances
- Liquids of all types
- Automobile batteries
- Motor oil or oil filters
- Animal/human waste of any kind
- Construction debris, such as wood, sheetrock, etc.
If you would like to dispose of non-acceptable items, then you may do so properly at:
- Northern Area Transfer Station: 3200 Warbro Road (off Genito Road)
